Stanley W. Beesley

A veteran, former athlete, career educator, coach and native of small-town Oklahoma, Stanley W. Beesley is the author of theacclaimed works: VIETNAM: THE HEARTLAND REMEMBERS and SWEETWATER, OKLAHOMA.

He was educated in a small high school, played on a national championship football team at NEO A&M College and holds a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Oklahoma.

He served with the U.S. Army’s 75th Rangers in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Today, Beesley lives with his wife and writes in their home on the Southern Plains.
