Pete Inseal was born in 1965 in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He left school at the age of 15 without any qualifications and worked for many years in menial jobs, including as a grave-digger and as a sand-blaster. He has spent over ten years in various prisons all over the UK for drug-related offences; during his last sentence he wrote Operation Cyclops. He now lives the life of a recluse in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
